Stylish Men’s Custom Suits for Wherever the Office Takes You
The meeting is finally here. You’ve prepared for weeks… analyzed the data again and again. The deck is done. You’re ready.
Custom Suit and Sport Coat Options for Men
An industry that has catered to the “few” for so long is now cozying up to the “many.” Why? Because we can.
“Today our opening price point is $895 for a two-piece suit. That’s a custom-made suit from a very fine fabric and styled the way the customer wants it. Technology has played a major role over the last 10 years to help us keep our prices where they are today.”
We offer two distinct grades of tailoring for all our custom-made clothing while utilizing some of the world’s finest fabrics.
Platinum…
Our Platinum grade construction sets the standard of excellence. All coats in this make have full canvas fronts with hand-shaped and hand-sewn shoulders including hand buttonholes.
Gold…
Using an extraordinary level of hand workmanship. All coats are half-canvas while utilizing some fused construction to make coats look their best. This is our house make and looks and feels fantastic.
Silver…
This is a semi-custom half-canvas coat construction. Very affordable with a 3-week delivery schedule. This limited collection also includes sport coats, pants, and tuxedos. A terrific value.
In a Hurry?
There’s always that situation where time drives the decision on what to buy. Our Accumeasure system is the perfect solution.
Accumeasure streamlines the custom clothing experience by taking a stock size (42 Regular, for example) and making a few select changes to the pattern to get as close as possible to your exact measurements. The garment is made in approximately 10 working days and back in our shop in about 2½ weeks.
And, if time is really short, our Accumeasure Express program can deliver a suit in one week (Saturday to Saturday).
Men’s Custom Suit (or Sport Coat) Buying Process in 30 Minutes or Less
Work is stressful and hard. Shopping for custom work clothes shouldn’t be. Here is our simple, 30-Minute Buying Process.
Step 1: Vision
Nothing happens without a vision… at least nothing very good. If clothing is central to your career, then making sure you explore all options is critical. As you already know, shopping off the rack is a crap shoot. You like it but it doesn’t fit. Or, what fits isn’t what you like… or, more important, love. Sit down with us and let’s talk about what you need, then we can get into the fun stuff. And, we can do it at the store, your office or on your deck. Whatever is easiest.
Total time: 10 minutes
Step 2: Narrow the Funnel
Our custom clothing competitors talk about unlimited styles and fabrics. We have those, too, but we know your time is valuable… why waste it going blind looking at fabric books? So, with your vision in mind, we go right to the fabric books that address your style preferences. It’s rare when we show a customer more than two fabric books, because we know how to get it right the first time.
Total time: 15 minutes
Step 3: Measure
We measure everything except your IQ, but customers come in all sizes, and it’s not unusual to take one-off measurements just to make sure the fit is right. Recently, a long-time customer wanted a suit, but in the last couple of years his upper body has changed dramatically, where his shoulders are smaller and his abdomen is larger… but his weight is the same. He had the same problem with his shirts. Try finding that off the rack!
Total time: 5 minutes
So, in roughly 30 minutes we have listened, created, selected and sized. And, in a few short weeks you’re going to look and feel like…
A billion dollars.
Quality and Attention to Detail Not Possible From a Department Store
When you hear someone say, “They don’t make them like they used to,” too often it’s not a rueful reminiscence, but a brutally truthful statement of fact.
The “right way” to make men’s custom suits is alive and well at Savile Row Custom Clothier. Every person takes an extraordinary amount of pride in the clothes we make. Pride in the design of the custom-made men’s suits and custom-made shirts, pride in the world-class fabrics, pride in the details, pride in the very heritage of Savile Row’s more than 30 years of serving St. Louis businessmen.
Our customers have that same pride in how they look and feel in our clothes and have a true appreciation for quality.
It’s what keeps Savile Row going strong.
