You Need It, but Don’t Have Time: Let Savile Row Handle Your Wardrobe Planning
The office takes you a lot of places. The boardroom. The meeting. The presentation. It takes you to the golf course. The dinner. The gala. And, maybe even the beach.
That’s a lot of clothes, a lot of shopping and a lot of time… something most of the executives we work with simply don’t have.
There is a better way. Savile Row’s five-step wardrobe planning process for men simplifies your goal of looking good in every situation.
We call it the Wardrobe Management Solution. It works for the man who wants his closet ready for wherever the office takes him. Our consultants analyze your wardrobe, break it down, and then put it back together in a systematic way for the style you need to further your career goals.
Just like your projects at the office, our process identifies gaps and weaknesses in your current wardrobe. At the heart of our wardrobe planning process for men is a unique metric we created called the Complete Closet Score. Using both quantitative and qualitative inputs, the Complete Closet Score evaluates every component of your business and casual wardrobes, giving you an unbiased perspective of where you are and where you need to go.
Our goal is to help you put your wardrobe on autopilot, with only periodic involvement from you.
Here’s a quick look at each step:
Step One: Analyze
A custom clothier will assess your current business and casual wardrobe and identify gaps and weaknesses, using the Complete Closet Score to set a baseline. The score is based on factors, such as age, condition, style, appropriateness for your goals and, not unimportant, your likes and dislikes. For example, you may have three beautiful suits made from Super 200 fabric, but their styling is dated. Those suits may get a lower score than your less expensive suit from Super 120 fabric that you bought last year.
Step Two: Vision
This is the fun part… where your wardrobe becomes what you want it to be. Who are your wardrobe role models? What makes them different… unique? What do you want your clothes to say about you? Are you fashion leader or follower? What’s acceptable (and unacceptable) in your industry? In your company? We’ll use your aspirations to set the direction for your perfect wardrobe.
Step Three: Plan
This is the easiest step in wardrobe planning because we’ll do all the work. As you know from your business, good plans combine both today’s needs and tomorrow’s opportunities. We will create a 12-month, step-by-step plan with detailed recommendations and budget options for building and maintaining a wardrobe that supports your lifestyle, budget and personal style.
Step Four: Implement
It’s go time… we’ve planned the work, so let’s work the plan.
Step Five: Update
Every six months or so, we will get with you to review and update your plan to find out what worked and what didn’t. Has anything changed with your job that should impact the plan? Maybe we do that at your home, or maybe you stop by the shop for a great glass of cabernet. Either way, we’ll make sure your wardrobe is and stays current.
